Farewell, trusty steed!
Sold my E36 M3 this week. Bought it with 90k, put 100k miles on it. Never stranded me; tracked happily and survived a brief stint in my youngest’s hands.
The best news is that my long-time mechanic bought it.
Adios!

It looks terrific
Here’s hoping there’ll be a worthy replacement :)

Thanks. The replacement for my aging ass, unfortunately, is an ‘01 E39 540i. Still a tidy ride, although every cent goes into maintenance and not into the cool stuff I’d like to do (BavAudio replacement speakers; 18s all around, FLOORMATS ffs!)
My floor mats are horrendous.

Understood about maintenance and priorities
Best wishes, they say E39s are sick cars. Personally I hope to find a good one coincident with having the funds lol
Although a really nice lo miles E34/540i/6 would work also. (I know, right? Uni-corn)

Those cars are so pretty! Saw slightly lowered 540 m sport on e39 m5 wheels the other day. Serious feels

Ah yes, duh. I always confuse Linn and Polk for their areas.

Any profile view so i can see what rims it has? I love e36s with newer oem BMW wheels like these style 65s
Im also partial to the sedan myself, for purely aesthetic reasons.

It has (had) M-Contours. I wasn’t that keen on them.

so much better than the forged m double spokes though. Ive seen people running contour replicas in 18" and it looks like a sexier version of OEM
